Welcome to the Pet Ministry-PS
We are committed to finding forever homes for "Angels in Fur Coats" that are lost, abandoned or surrendered by their owners due to re-location. Since we are not a shelter, we look for foster homes to care for dogs and cats before they are placed in a new permanent home. Since 2009, Pets available for adoption were introduced on the patio of the Center for Spiritual Living-Palm Desert on the third Sunday of each month (excluding June, July, and August) where new owners were screened by our volunteers to determine the best home for each pet. Donations and fund-raising proceeds are used for medical care and spaying/neutering. Donations are tax-deductible. After celebrating our 11th Anniversary in February 2020, the Pet Ministry-PS had to stop adoptions on the CSL-PD patio after they switched to online services only in March 2020. Pets for adoption are now available by individual “Meet & Greet” visits. So please contact us if you are looking for a new best friend.

11th YEAR ANNIVERSARY
FOR PET MINISTRY
The Pet Ministry celebrated our 11th Anniversary on Sunday, February 16th, at The Center for Spiritual Living-Palm Desert (Portola and Shadow Mountain). We have a bake sale and adoption event every third Sunday of the month from September through May on the patio at CSL. Please tell your friends. Hope you will join us.
We have raised thousands of dollars with our monthly bake sales and from donations which are used for pet food, spaying and neutering and medical expenses.
We are very grateful to our volunteers and donors for all the generous support. We look forward to many more years of rescuing Angels in Fur Coats and finding them loving, forever homes.
In the past eleven years, we have found loving, forever homes for hundreds of homeless dogs and cats, helped people who needed assistance with medical expenses and referrals and provided food for their pets. We also network emails about adoptable pets available at shelters and rescues.
Below are just some of the photos of the more than 300 pets that we found loving, forever homes.
